This small print is 5x5 inches. Originally painted on watercolor paper, it was created using gouache, watercolor, colored pencil, ink and graphite.

The Indian Silkworm Moth, as it’s name describes lives in India, Japan, Nepal, Korea, Northern China, Eastern Russia and can produce silk (if domesticated). The full grown moths can lives up to six weeks. Females lay their eggs on mulberry leaves and can produces around 300-500 eggs.
