I’m sure you might have seen this small butterfly in quick bursts of flight. This common butterfly is native to the United States except the northwest, and is especially common in the south and throughout Central America.

This petite original painting is 5x5 inches. Painted on thick watercolor paper, it was created using gouache, watercolor, colored pencil, ink and graphite.
